As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, JYBSA depends on the generous financial support of countless individuals and businesses.  The support we receive helps us keep our player fees as low as possible so that every child who wants to play can play.

Because we have no paid management staff, 100% of the financial support we receive from our sponsors goes directly to cover our annual operating costs (such as field maintenance, buying safety equipment, paying umpires, etc.). By covering some of those operating costs, our sponsors literally help us keep our player fees as low as possible, which is critical if we want to keep serving as many players as possible without regard to financial need.

Janesville Youth Baseball & Softball Association, Inc. (JYBSA), has been serving Janesville's youth since 1958.  Today we offer T-Ball, baseball, and softball programs to nearly 900 area boys and girls in our community who range from ages 5-16.  If you know someone who is playing youth baseball or softball in Janesville today, or who played when they were growing up in Janesville, chances are that they did it in our programs!   

As a non-profit organization, JYBSA's mission is to serve as many kids as possible.  We rely upon critical financial support from our community to achieve that mission.  Donations are a critical factor that allow JYBSA to cover the costs of maintaining and improving our ballpark while still keeping our player fees as low as possible, which is the number one goal.  Your donation to JYBSA has a direct and immediate impact on our efforts to increase participation, build awareness, and deliver programs that enrich players' experiences.

How to make Capital Campaign donations.  As part of our capital campaign to develop the Youth Sports Complex, JYBSA offers several donation opportunities that come with recognition at our ballpark.  Those opportunities include dedication bricks ($100), large dedication bricks ($250), bleacher seat sponsors ($1000), bleacher section sponsors ($5,000), dugout sponsors ($12,500), field sponsors ($50,000), and complex sponsors ($250,000 and above).  If you are interested in making a donation in support of JYBSA's Capital Campaign to help us continue improving the Sports Complex , please do not hesitate to contact us at ellisortho.andrew@gmail.com, and we will be happy to provide you with any further information you may find useful.  

JYBSA is only able to operate due to the profound dedication of close to 200 adult volunteers. We cannot thank them enough for all the things they do for the kids in our program and for JYBSA as a whole.  If you see a volunteer doing something especially praiseworthy, please let us know.  And please remember to say thanks to our volunteers when you can - they absolutely appreciate it!

If you have an interest in volunteering for JYBSA, we need you!  Whether your interests lie in coaching, serving as a team parent, serving on a board committee, or somewhere else, we can find a spot for you.  Our Board has several standing committees that rely extensively on the help and involvement of non-board members.  A few examples are our Fundraising Committee, Tournament Committee, and McQuade Golf Outing Committee. Joining one of those committees is a great way to volunteer on a project-by-project basis and see whether you would have an interest in joining the Board someday.
